With only current methods of urban transportation available, we are mired in traffic jams. We have no choice but to breathe foul air.  We worry about civilization’s influence on the climate.  We are captive to the price of oil.  We are concerned with the lack of equity in our society because of the large number of people who cannot or should not drive. We witness an appalling number of people killed and injured in auto accidents. We wonder about urban sprawl as energy becomes more expensive.

The steam car was superior in many ways to the gasoline engine. It failed due to convenience factors.
The BetaCam was superior in most ways to the VCR. It failed due to public acceptance.

The PRT is superior in all ways to petro powered 'day to day' transport.
It has failed due to powerful lobby.

Only through experiencing the dramatic safety and convenience will the smoke clear and people see how long they have been deceived and "played" like puppets by the oil and gas regime.

In other words Build It and They Will RIDE!
